Wake up, wake up, wake up.... It's the first of the month.... To get up, get up, get up.... Gotta find them Dub's.... W's.... Two in a row.... Great game from Voglesong.... And awesome to see Duffy with his first major league hit and RBI.... Anybody who watched the game on tv saw the reaction of Duffy's dad in the stands.... How sweet that has to be....

Perfect 6 1/3 from Peavy.... Shows he can still pitch.... Just some bad luck.... A better defensive outfielder out there and he might have been perfect through 7.... Peavy has received the lowest run support in MLB this year.... Need a Bum gem today.... Have to stay upfront in this wildcard.... Too many teams to have to leapfrog if not.... Let's get this.... Taking a step back from the lunatic fringe....

Nice.... That's how an ace has to perform.... Cain was SUPPOSED to be it.... This was forced upon Bum by Cain's ineffectiveness.... It's the role.... The leader.... Bum goes out every time with the expectations that come with the role.... The role that he shouldn't have had to step into just yet.... Things change when you are the man.... Things change when you are the lead dog.... You suddenly have responsibility.... It's easy to criticize.... It's easy to hide.... It's easy to second guess.... To have the answer for everything when you don't have to answer for anything.... Because your neck is not on the line.... Those in the role are not afforded such luxury.... Bum is not afforded that luxury.... He is a leader.... The rest better follow....

3 out of 4.... Pablo with the big hit.... This game had that feeling.... The this is really going to suck to split feeling.... But they pulled it out.... Pence was a beast this series.... On to Miller Park.... Which is good cause it's not AT&T.... Have to keep the pressure on.... 1 1/2 out....
