A visitor's guide to San Fran and AT&T Park

Hey all,

Brewers fan here coming in peace. Myself and a couple friends are venturing out to San Francisco at the end of the month for the Giants-Brewers series. We love meeting and conversing with the opposition's fans, and of course (seeing as we're Wisconsinites...) enjoy an adult beverage or two along the way. So a few questions:

What's the best place to go before the game for a good pre-game atmosphere with a lot of fans?

Anywhere in the park that's good to stand and watch the game? We enjoy being out on the concourse rather than in seats so we can talk to people.

Any good places to go out after the game? Preferably where the baseball fans head postgame, but in lieu of that any other happening parts of town?

Thanks in advance for the advice, can't wait!
The nice thing about AT&T Park is the area. There are tons of restaurants and bars in the area so finding a fun spot before and after the game should not be a problem.

Walking around the stadium, you should always have a great view. You can literally walk around the whole thing from the upper levels and still see the game very well. And there is lots to see as you walk around.

I would also recommend taking the stadium tour prior to your game. Maybe the day before or something. You will get a good layout of the land.
It's a great stadium.
Oh yeah. How was your experience?
Yeah, it's a great place to watch a ball game. Hope you had a great time.
