Yusmeiro Petit pitched six dominant innings, striking out nine batters en route to making history in the San Francisco Giants' 4-1 Major League Baseball victory over the Colorado Rockies. Giants batter Pablo Sandoval led off the second inning with a single, and after Hunter Pence popped up in the infield, Gregor Blanco crushed a Jordan Lyles' pitch over the fence to make it 2-0.
