Sadowski and Guzman optioned

The Giants indeed optioned starter Ryan Sadowski and first baseman Jesus Guzman to Triple-A Fresno to clear room for right-handed reliever Waldis Joaquin, who was promoted from Double-A Connecticut, and Freddy Sanchez, who formally joined the team. he Giants will use their seventh starter of the season in Houston on Wednesday. Sadowski wasn't pitching well since his first 2 starts but he didn't do that bad yesterday. Wonder which one of the two will get the nod.

I hope Pucetas gets the start, I'd like to see how he does. I haven't seen him pitch before but I hear good things.

Definitely excited to see Pucetas. hopefully bumgarner can bump up next year if the Unit retires.
