11 game road trip

4 against NY
3 against CIN
4 vs the Rockies

We need to do better than 6-5 on this trip if we are to have a shot at playing in Oct.

Forget the Dodgers and 1st place, They have a very easy schedule in Sept. We are in the Wildcard chase and this trip will make or break us.

True. We need to play better overall and that includes the pitching staff because on the road we do struggle more. We control our destiny.

If we suck this road trip there is no way we will get into the playoffs

I disagree completely. I would be VERY happy with a 6-5 record on this trip. That would certainly not knock the Giants out of the WC race at all. Nor would 5-6.

If they come back with a 4-7 record or worse .. well thats a different story.

yep we need at LEAST 5-6 anything worse than that and I doubt we'll make any noise
