Glaus, whose deal includes incentives but is still pending a physical, would play first base in Atlanta, the Web site added. The 33-year-old was limited to 14 games with the Cardinals this past season after undergoing right shoulder surgery in January. Upon returning to the field in September, he batted .172 (5-for-29) with two RBIs. Glaus has played 1,336 career games at third base and only six at first, with all those appearances coming within the past two seasons. For his 12-year career, Glaus -- a four-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger -- is a .255 hitter with 304 home runs. In his previous full season in '08, he batted .270 with 27 homers and 99 RBIs while playing in 151 games in St. Louis.
