Andres Torres is One of the Reasons

Andres Torres is One of the Reasons, the Giants are flying so high this 2010 season.

I know we all know Andres can bat from both sides and has blazing speed, and is a major upgrade over any of our outfielders. He has had a long traveled road. But I'm glad we have him on our team now.

He is tied for the NL lead in doubles with 32 (on pace for 51), also leads the team in triples & SB. He is 2nd in runs, total bases and walks.

Did you also know: Torres was recently diagnosed with Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. Torres would look to the third base coach to get his sign, and he would forget it before he even got back into the batter's box. Torres has since gotten medication and is now a spokesperson for ADHD.

At the rate he's playing right now he's got another 3-5 years in him. That's a mainstay imho.

If we got 4 years of this kind of play from Torres, It would be better than anything we could hope for
