Madison Bumgarner finally "garnered" his first victory of the season Thursday night at Dodger Stadium, after 6 straight losses.
Bumgarner came within a soft single of pitching a complete game 3-hit shutout, but Brian Wilson came in to get the final out after walking two straight batters.
Hopefully, this is only the first in a string of victories for Bumgarner.
Looks like the NL West is going to be close again, so the Giants are going to need their starting staff to have good outings from here on.
