Honestly I wouldn't change the rules. If you watch the play posey was in a bad position. Yea it sucks really bad. But we can't change the way every play is made. But if it did change then so be it.

Yup, I'm of the same mind. Buster was out of position and it was a horrific incident but it doesn't warrant a rule change. There is no force on the play so you take your chances there.

It happens a lot, catchers don't often get injured. But if it does happen, its unfortunate! Baseball has always been like that. It is kind of crazy that you can smash into the catcher but not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd baseman.
