We really need to step up in this series. It isn't to kick Pittsburgh while they are down but because we really need the series.

Lost last 8 out of 10 games. No good. 3 new guys, and we are worse, sad but true. This more than guys not hitting, it's deeper than that.

Only the Giants can turn a 6-0 lead into torture.

JSan just doesnt look like the same pitcher from a yr ago. No command, no velocity, and his confidence seems to have been shattered. Hope Bochy stays with him as the #5 starter, but its definitely not looking good after 2 starts coming off the DL.

Keep him as the #5? I'm hoping Zito can get back soon cause Sancho ain't getting it done. Demote the guy to Relief and let's move on at the end of the year. At least Zito came off his first trip to the DL with some oomph in his first 3 games back. Sancho comes back and it's like there is a busted pitching machine on the mound.

No doubt they both suck, but not sure Zito will be any better. Although you right, he did pitch well, 3 straight starts after the DL, but he then proceeded to suck the next 3 starts after that. So, both are bad options right now. What about calling up our young pitcher from the minors to get the job done ?

We lost our trade opportunity with Sanchez if he continues this way. His new mechanics are so messed up. He doesn't care about the walks and seems that he can't remember to hold his head up instead of dropping it to his chin. His arm slot is all over the place and he may be nothing better than a long reliever.

And who might that be? The kids in AAA and A ball are not ready. And the ones in AA are junk. Have you noticed the Giants almost always skip AA with the good prospects? Dick Tidrow has a great eye for pitching talent and likes to keep them as close as possible. just a short drive away. Augusta is a long plane ride away.

Don't know anything about him. Did he move to number 1 due to the trades we made?

Yep, he was the reason, Wheeler wasn't so hard to let go to the Mets.

Damn he was born the same year I graduated HS and Enlisted in the service.

I think it's time to send Sanch back down.
