Another nice effort for Cain not rewarded.... Need Hudson to be solid.... and the bats need to provide some support.... Stults has been hit fairly hard this year.... And the Padres are wretched offensively.... Posey and Morse back in the lineup.... Giants should even this series up today.... and then Lincecum tomorrow to handle business.... Four straight games against lefties starting today....

Pathetic. How Bam Bam keeps job is a puzzler. Got to feel for Matt Cain. When he's done he will be fondly remembered by Giants fans--have the money and 2 rings---but one has to wonder what he could've (could) be with an average hitting team. He really should ask out--ask for a trade. What a pity to be "Cained"

So let me ask you guys. How is it that we can be so good against one of the most talented teams in baseball, and then fall apart on the very next series?

We better get things together. We already got bumped put of first place.
