SAN FRANCISCO — There was a pretty notable awkward moment on Wednesday’s Netflix broadcast. The first ABS (Automated Ball-Strike) challenge in MLB history was missed because the broadcast was focused on a dugout interview with Tony Vitello, and after the 7-0 loss to the New York Yankees, the Giants manager said that sequence actually almost didn’t happen at all because he had run to a dugout bathroom.“I only used the restroom one time tonight and it happened to be the time I was supposed to be doing the Netflix interview,” he said. “I was a little more concerned with the score being 5-0 at that time than being in that spot.”As Vitello talked to the broadcast crew, Logan Webb threw a sinker up and in on Jose Caballero. Patrick Bailey pulled it back into the strike zone and Caballero immediately tapped his helmet.
