SAN FRANCISCO — Eight different Giants had a hit on Saturday, which ordinarily is a recipe for a huge offensive day. Unfortunately for them, they weren’t stacked together. The Giants had 10 hits but lost 6-2 to the Baltimore Orioles, snapping a three-game winning streak. They’ll go for a series win on Sunday behind Adrian Houser. San Francisco struck first on a second-inning RBI single from Heliot Ramos, who has started to turn it around after a very quiet first two weeks. However, the Orioles immediately tied the game against Logan Webb and then took the lead on a solo shot in the third. Ramos bounced out with the bases loaded and one out in the fourth to tie the game, but again, the momentum would be short-lived. A leadoff walk got the Orioles going in the bottom of the inning, and they scored twice. Baltimore tacked on a pair of runs against San Francisco’s bullpen, which proved helpful when the first two Giants reached against closer Ryan Helsley in the ninth.
