LOS ANGELES — There might be a point in this season when the Giants play spoiler, and if that’s the case, they would have taken a positive out of one part of Monday’s result at Dodger Stadium. With a solid all-around performance, they knocked the Los Angeles Dodgers out of the top spot in the National League West. Right now, though, the Giants aren’t just a spoiler. They’re still trying to get back in this thing, and with a 9-3 victory at Dodger Stadium, they have three wins in their past four games. The Giants jumped ahead early on a solo shot from a surging Rafael Devers and took a 3-2 lead into the bottom of the sixth. Max Muncy’s homer tied it, but the top of the lineup got three straight singles off Alex Vesia in the top of the seventh to load the bases with one out. Vesia walked Devers to bring one run across and Willy Adames hit a single with two outs and two strikes, adding a pair of runs. That was enough in large part because of Matt Gage.
