First-year Giants manager Tony Vitello was heavily criticized after a viral moment Saturday showed the bullpen confused about which relief pitcher was being brought in to replace right-hander Ryan Walker in the sixth inning of the 13-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates.But Vitello was not at fault, Mike Krukow said Monday in an interview with KNBR’s “Murph and Markus,” as he believes it was the umpire who created the confusion.“That is not true,” Krukow stated when he was asked about what appeared to be Vitello’s mishap. “When he came out there, he came out there and he raised his left arm. We have it on film.  “The problem was it was not relayed to the bullpen by the umpire.
