Giants fan favorite Jung Hoo Lee has been out of the lineup since May 18 due to a back strain.As reported by NBC Sports Bay Area’s Alex Pavlovic, Lee “felt a pinch” in his back during a workout, and it worsened while swinging last Monday in Arizona. With the Giants missing his hot bat and good energy, manager Tony Vitello revealed on Tuesday that the right fielder is starting baseball activity, and could return as soon as this weekend.“I think it does [mean Lee could be back this weekend], as long as there’s no setbacks,” Vitello told reporters before the Giants’ game against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Oracle Park. “Again, no activity until today and then ramp up the activity a little bit, but he’ll get a little bit of everything today to get moving around. The main thing is probably swings, a little bit of twists in the body.
