At long last, after approximately 21 hours, the first game of this week’s three-game series between the Giants (30-43) and Atlanta Braves (46-26) is over. The game originally started at 4 p.m. PT on Tuesday, but after a lengthy rain delay, was re-scheduled to continue, with San Francisco leading 3-2 in the bottom of the second, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. PT.A sacrifice fly by Giants right fielder Jung Hoo Lee in the top of the first inning on Tuesday gave San Francisco an early 1-0 lead before Atlanta countered with a solo home run from catcher Drake Baldwin and an RBI single off the bat of Mauricio Dubón that gave the Braves a 2-1 lead.
