BOX SCORESAN FRANCISCO — The Giants’ momentum didn’t survive the rainout. After Thursday’s game in Atlanta got postponed, the Giants flew to Miami earlier than they expected and avoided what was supposed to be a quick turnaround. But they could not avoid another bullpen meltdown. A late lead turned into a 4-3 loss in Miami, snapping a modest three-game winning streak that included two wins on Wednesday. The Marlins jumped ahead on a solo homer in the bottom of the first, but the Giants struck right back, and nearly got a lot more. They loaded the bases in the second and Daniel Susac crushed a hanging curveball to left, but Kyle Stowers ran it down at the wall and made a nice catch, limiting Susac to a sacrifice fly. That would be it in the inning, but the Giants got a solo homer from Rafael Devers in the sixth and then took the lead on an RBI single from Casey Schmitt. It stayed that way until the bottom of the seventh, when the first three Marlins reached and they retook the lead.
