SAN FRANCISCO — For Giants fans who have been waiting for the organization to have a stronger statement or response to the Pride Night controversy, the wait will continuePresident of baseball operations Buster Posey met with reporters on Tuesday for the first time in several weeks and made a brief statement before saying repeatedly that he would only answer baseball questions. No other members of the team’s ownership group or upper management have been made available, and it doesn’t seem that anything is in the works. “I’d like to recognize that the organization has shared its response to Pride Night, and I understand that there’s strong feelings on this topic.
