A day after he exited early in the Giants’ 8-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks, San Francisco on Wednesday placed third baseman Matt Chapman on the 10-day IL with an abdominal strain.Utility infielder Christian Koss was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move.
