No one can argue it isn’t deserved. The Giants’ right-hander posted a 3-1 record in five June starts, leading all qualified pitchers with a 0.71 ERA and 0.61 WHIP. Opposing batters managed just a .148 batting average against Webb, who lasted at least seven innings in all five of his outings and eight innings in three of the five.
