With the Giants expected to go into the 2026 MLB trade deadline as sellers, Mike Krukow made an impassioned case for the team to keep one of its stars this season.In an appearance on KNBR’s “The Murph & Markus Show” with guest hosts Carlos Ramírez and Ted Ramey, Krukow lauded the contributions of second baseman Luis Arraez, answering emphatically when Ramírez suggested extending the free-agent-to-be instead of dealing him away.
“I agree 100 percent,” Krukow told Ramírez and Ramey. “If [Arraez] gets traded, I’m going to get down and cry. I really enjoy watching this guy. But that’s the business of the game. Unfortunately, that happens. You just have to roll with it and hope that whatever trade that they do make — if they do make one — that it benefits your team down the road. It will be an emotional day, though.”
