Two months after the Giants acquired the No. 29 pick from the Cleveland Guardians as part of the Patrick Bailey trade, San Francisco finally got to use the selection Saturday.The Giants took left-handed pitcher Carson Bolemon from Southside Christian High School in South Carolina with the Competitive Balance pick.
The addition of Bolemon comes after the Giants selected UC Santa Barbara right-handed pitcher Jackson Flora with the No. 4 overall pick.
