Oracle Park once again could find itself in the spotlight for the Midsummer Classic.Or not. Who knows, actually.

The Giants’ waterfront ballpark, which reportedly was a frontrunner to host the 2028 MLB All-Star Game at this time last year, still could host the event, but the it’s unclear if that will happen after conflicting statements from MLB Players’ Association interim executive director Bruce Meyer and league commissioner Rob Manfred this week at this summer’s All-Star game in Philadelphia.
