Giants starter Trevor McDonald exited early in Monday’s game against the Kansas City Royals due to elbow discomfort, manager Tony Vitello revealed after San Francisco’s 4-3 loss.Before the bottom of the fifth inning, McDonald was warming up when he motioned to the Giants’ dugout.
