While in Indianapolis to meet with a specialist about his left foot injury, Giants outfielder Harrison Bader made his ailment even worse.Bader, who has been on the IL since late May with plantar fasciitis, was set to meet with the foot and ankle specialist Monday, the Giants said in a release — but a scooter accident exacerbated the injury.

“The meeting was complicated by the fact that [Bader] had a scooter accident on Saturday night/early Sunday morning and further injured his same foot (left),” the release states. “The impact of that injury changed the nature of his evaluation, which had originally been to determine the severity of the initial injury/condition (left plantar fasciitis).” The update on Harrison Bader is a bizarre one. He went to see a specialist for his plantar fasciitis, but the Giants announced that he had a scooter accident "on Saturday night/early Sunday morning" and further injured that left foot. He will now get an MRI for the new injury.
