ARLINGTON — There was so much action on Sunday and Monday — six players sent out in five trades — that the Giants had just 25 players in their clubhouse at the start of their first game at Globe Life Field. They intended to add another outfielder on Tuesday, but for a night, they went short.
Against a sloppy Texas Rangers team, that didn’t come close to mattering.
Logan Webb had his best start in a month and Jung Hoo Lee lined a couple of homers in a 5-1 win over the Rangers, who have lost six straight. The home team made five errors, including a pair in the second inning that helped the Giants take an early lead.
