ARLINGTON — There were some good moments of growth Tuesday. A young starter pitched well, a newcomer continued to show he might belong, and the future face of the franchise had a huge moment off the bench.
But ultimately, it also was another loss.
The Giants got walked off on a bizarre play with two outs in the ninth. Ezequiel Duran hit a long fly ball to right and Jung Hoo Lee got tripped up as he got to the track, letting it drop for a game-winning hit. The 5-4 defeat was the ninth walk-off loss of the 2026 MLB season for the Giants, who handed the Texas Rangers a blown save a few minutes earlier.
