Giants broadcaster Mike Krukow announced Thursday that his color analyst career will come to an end on Sept. 27 when the Los Angeles Dodgers close out the 2026 regular season in San Francisco.That matchup in the season finale comes nearly 10 years after legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully called his last game.
While Krukow didn’t call MLB games nearly as long as the late Scully, the San Francisco Standard’s John Shea pointed out the uniquely wild symmetry between their respective broadcasting careers. Vin Scully grew up a Giants fan and became an iconic Dodger announcer.
