Frustration is starting to boil over after the Giants dropped the season series to the Colorado Rockies for the first time (in a full season) since 2018. Following San Francisco’s 13-7 loss to Colorado on Sunday at Oracle Park, Giants manager Tony Vitello thought it was necessary to address the team.
“People paid money to sit through that,” Vitello stated. Wash (Ron Washington) has to sit through that. Might as well sit through a meeting.”
President of baseball operations Buster Posey came out publicly over the weekend, expressing his confidence in Vitello, mentioning there is no doubt he will be back next season.
