SAN FRANCISCO — A night after getting walked off in what felt like a football game, the Giants got some revenge — and they did so against an old friend.
Bryce Eldridge doubled home the go-ahead run off former Giants closer Camilo Doval in the 10th inning, and a Turner Hill sacrifice fly added on. Closer Dylan Smith held on in the bottom of the inning, giving the Giants a 5-4 win that evened what has been a nail-biter of a series. Bryce comes up clutch pic.twitter.com/tFFlkdp0cS

The Pirates tied things up in the fourth, but the Giants took advantage of a break an inning later. Three Pirates converged on a towering pop-up from Devers and let it fall, loading the bases with one out. That turned Eldridge’s flyball into a sac fly, and Hill made it a two-run lead with a single.
