No. 4 overall draft pick Jackson Flora‘s professional debut with the Giants organization was short and sweet on Friday night.The Giants’ top pitching prospect joined Single-A San Jose and pitched one scoreless inning against the Fresno Grizzlies at Chukchansi Park.

The Giants are taking a cautious approach with Flora after he threw 102 innings for UC Santa Barbara this year.
San Jose wraps up the 2026 regular season this weekend before beginning the California League playoffs next week, so it’s possible Flora makes another abbreviated start.
For now, the 21-year-old can celebrate a solid start to his professional baseball career.
