Giants manager Tony Vitello got to take another early shower on Saturday.Vitello was ejected in the top of the second inning against the New York Mets at Citi Field after arguing with umpires following an unsuccessful replay review challenge.
Giants left fielder Turner Hill appeared to get hit on the right hand by a pitch from Mets starter Zac Thornton. On the field, home plate umpire Jeremie Rehak ruled that the ball hit Hill’s bat, forcing Vitello to challenge the call.
