Giants secure first road series win in three months with victory vs. Cardinals

For the first time in three months, the Giants have won a series on the road.

After a resounding win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday at Busch Stadium, San Francisco secured a road series victory with a 6-5 extra-innings win in Wednesday’s series finale.

San Francisco struck first in the top of the third inning, when Brett Harris grounded into a double play after Jonah Cox and Bryce Eldridge reached base and Cox advanced to third.
