SAN FRANCISCO — In addition to saying goodbye to Mike Krukow and celebrating his partnership with Duane Kuiper this weekend, the Giants will give out the Willie Mac Award. Oh, and the Los Angeles Dodgers will be on the other side as they prepare for the MLB playoffs.
There will be quite a bit of buzz over the final three games of the year. Wednesday’s game, however, was a dud. The Giants lost 4-2, dropping the series to the Minnesota Twins.
After splitting the first two games of the series, the teams went back and forth in the finale. The Twins took an early lead, but the Giants got a two-run bloop from Shay Whitcomb in the fourth.
