Now, 14 months later, Doval is back in a Giants uniform. And San Francisco gave up nothing to get him.
However, the 29-year-old reliever has struggled since the Giants traded him, posting a 4.82 ERA in 22 appearances with the Yankees in the second half of last season before posting a 4.54 ERA in 44 appearances with New York this season.
