SAN FRANCISCO — Logan Webb smiled and shook his head Friday as he thought of the irony. At the end of his eighth MLB season, Webb was finally the Willie Mac Award winner, an honor that shows what a good teammate he has been through a disappointing 2026 season not just for him, but for the team. But by being a good teammate in the past, Webb also might have delayed his speech. He said Friday that he had finished second three straight years and voted for the eventual winner each time.
