As a Los Angeles Dodgers fan, one thing I love about spring training is the opportunity to see new and developing players, players who don't have the opportunity to start the high-stakes games of the regular season. In March 18's Cactus League game against the San Francisco Giants, Dodgers fans like me got to see such a player. In almost a fairy tale performance, non-roster prospect Rubby De La Rosa dominated the defending World Series champion San Francisco Giants, holding them hitless for four innings in the Dodgers' 6-3 win.
