It was dominationbordering on cruelty. The '76 Yankees entered the Series with a formidable lineupincluding Thurman Munson, Chris Chambliss, Graig Nettles, WillieRandolph, and Catfish Hunter pitching - and they were dismissed infour games, only one of which was close. Munson hit .529, only tobe outdone by fellow catcher Johnny Bench, who hit .533.
