Pablo Sandoval appears rejuvenated. The much-maligned third baseman is seeing the ball well andhitting it hard 11-for-26, .423. He looks better in the field, too. It's still early, and he has shown little power, but it lookslike one of the key factors for Giants success is falling intoplace. A resurgent Sandoval is better than any free-agent pickupthe team could have made in the offseason, adding needed beef tothe middle of the lineup. Friday's home opener was a case in point, with Sandoval going3-for-5 with a walk and the game-tying RBI single with two outs inthe ninth. It was his third multihit game of the year. He is10-for-22 .455 against right-handed pitching this season.
