The Giants have two serious problems -one that better be fixed quickly lest it destroy them, another thatcould dog them for years. Issue 1 is their defense, which has been abysmal over the first10 games and cost them again in Monday night's 6-1 loss to theDodgers. Issue 2 is Clayton Kershaw. The Giants have no answer for the SandyKoufax of this generation at least against them. He is 23 and couldbe wearing Dodger blue until Buster Posey is old and gray.
