Darren Ford and Emmanuel Burriss have developed a strongbrotherly bond the past two years, and Sunday they combined for thefirst time as major leaguers to deliver the Giants' latest scintillatingwalk-off victory. Burriss drove home Ford, who had singled and stolen second basemoments earlier, with a first-pitch liner to right field in thebottom of the 11th inning to give the Giants a 5-4 victory and athree-game sweep of the A's at AT&T Park. This one looked as if it were heading for the loss column withthe Giants trailing 4-2 in the lateinnings. But Nate Schierholtz's two-run homer off Grant Balfour inthe bottom of the eighth and three scoreless relief innings fromBrian Wilson and Sergio Romo set up the Ford-Burriss heroics.
