About two months ago, many Giants fans were hoping Brandon Belt would become this year's Buster Posey . Things didn't quite go thatsmoothly for Belt, but after Posey's serious leg injury Wednesdaynight, Belt has been recalled from Triple-A Fresno. Belt wasn't the Giants' only call-up Thursday. Theypurchased the contracts of catcher Chris Stewart from Fresno and infielder Brandon Crawford from Class A San Jose.
