San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey had surgery Sunday to repair torn ligaments in his ankle sustained in a collision at home plate Wednesday night. The 2010 NL Rookie of the Year said it was "highly likely" his season would be over on Friday after he broke a bone in his lower left leg and injured the ankle in a collision with Florida's Scott Cousins.
