San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey underwent successful surgery Sunday to repair ligaments in his ankle. The surgery was performed by Dr. Ken Akizuki, assisted by foot specialist Dr. Larry Oloff and 49ers orthopedist Dr. Michael Dillingham, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
