A day after Giants general manager Brian Sabeanripped into Marlins outfielder Scott Cousins on the radio forinjuring Buster Posey in a collision at home plate May 25, Cousins'teammates lashed back and the Giants responded with a writtenapology. Sabean told KNBR radio Thursday: "If I never hear from Cousinsagain or he never plays another game in the big leagues, I thinkwe'll all be happy. He chose to be a hero in my mind, and if that'shis flash of fame, that's as good as it's going to get, pal. We'llhave a long memory. You can't be that out-and-out overlyaggressive. I'll put it as politically as I can state it: There'sno love lost and there shouldn't be."
