John Shea from the ballpark . . . Jeremy Affeldt will be used only in emergency tonight. Manager Bruce Bochy wants to stay away from the left-handed reliever if possible because of a sore calf. More attention is being given in the clubhouse to how he got hurt than the severity of the injury...
