They still have major issues, consider last night they were1-for-12 with runners in scoring position in a sloppy 4-2 loss tothe Giants at AT&T Park to head into the All Star break at46-45, but it could be worse. The Mets simply don't have enoughoffense right now with Jose Reyes, David Wright and Ike Davissidelined. When you face great pitchers, such as Matt Cain and TimLincecum the last two games, weaknesses get exposed. The Mets slashed 11 extra base hits inthose two games, yet scored only three runs.
