When you spend the vast majority of a 10-year professionalbaseball career in the minor leagues, you usually develop yoursenses; as in, a sense of perspective, a sense of self and a senseof humor. So, you figure catcher Chris Stewart takes pride in - and is alittle amused by - the fact that what he terms "by far my bestcomplete game" in the majors consisted of him playing all of threeinnings without getting an official at-bat. Stewart entered the Giants' 4-3 win at San Diego onSunday as a pinch-hitter in the ninth inning. He laid down asacrifice bunt in that plate appearance. In the 11th, his squeezebunt brought home Emmanuel Burriss with the winning run.
