Entering play Sunday, the Brewers had made a major league-high53 "outs on the bases," as defined by Baseball-Reference.com. Thatnumber quickly jumped to 54 when Yuniesky Betancourt was doubledoff first base on a fly ball to center by Jonathan Lucroy in thesecond inning. That stat does not include pickoffs, caught stealing or forceplays.
